Art Glass Center at Glen Echo

The Art Glass Center at Glen Echo is a school, a resource center, and a gallery for kiln-formed glass serving the Washington metropolitan area.

The center is directed by several glass artists-in-residence who are all committed to both teaching and creating art. These artists, as well as other faculty, teach classes at the center that range from beginning kiln-formed glass to master classes for advanced students. Classes include fusing, kiln casting, mosaics, jewelry, and Venetian glass bead making.

The Center produces several exhibitions each year featuring the glass art of emerging artists, studio artists, faculty and students. It is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization that provides education and support in the development of glass art and artists.
