Special Activities for September 12, 2014:

 

Popcorn Gallery 

The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture and the Art Glass Center at Glen Echo are pleased to present Glass: Visions and Voices, an exhibition of glass art by Art Glass Center artists. This group exhibition includes a variety of kilnformed glass, including functional work, sculpture and jewelry. Gallery Open, 6 to 8pm.

Special for Art Walk - Artist-led tour - 6pm

 

Stone Tower Gallery at Glen Echo Park

Glen Echo Park Partnership is pleased to present Functional, Whimsical, Wearable!, a wearable art exhibition featuring a variety of adornments, including fiber art, clothing, and sculptural jewelry.  Gallery Open, 6 to 8pm.

 

 

Photoworks Gallery

 Photoworks is proud to present FOCAL POINT: The Annual Darkroom Show, an exhibition of silver gelatin master prints from Photoworks Advanced Master Darkroom Class.  Beautiful, haunting, rugged and surprising, these original prints will not disappoint. 

Gallery open 6 to 8pm.

Special for Art Walk - Gallery Talk, Demonstrations and Raffle, 6 to 8pm; Come to Photoworks Gallery for a gallery talk with

exhibiting artists, as well as printing demonstrations at 6:30pm, 7pm and 7:30pm. Enter a Raffle for 3 Images - drawing at 7:45pm,

you do not need to be present to win.

 

 

 

After the Art Walk in the Park stay for dinner at the Glen Echo Cafe
