Enjoy an evening of fabulous music and carousel rides with your friends and family. Tonight's concert features the United States Air Force Band "Singing Sergeants." Presenting the music of America to the people of the world, the chorus has appeared before millions of people in live performances and countless more on radio and television programs.

 

Concerts will be held rain or shine. The Carousel will be open for rides, and families may also bring a picnic dinner or enjoy salads and sandwiches at the Ballroom Cafe.

Blues Alley and the Partnership are proud to host an afternoon Family Jazz Day concert, featuring four different jazz bands! A different band will play each hour starting at 3 pm (see schedule below). The Jazz Academy All-Stars and the Blues Alley Youth Orchestra are young musicians, and the Capital Focus Band features mostly college-age musicians. The thrilling finale by the U.S. Naval Academy Next Wave features seventeen of the nation's finest musicians!

 

  • 3:00 - 3:45 pm: Capital Focus Jazz Band
  • 4:00 - 4:45 pm: Jazz Academy All-Stars
  • 5:00 - 5:45 pm: Blues Alley Youth Orchestra
  • 6:00 - 7:00 pm: U.S. Naval Academy "Next Wave"

 

Families are welcome to bring a picnic or visit our Ballroom Cafe. Concerts will be held rain or shine.
