Hall Manager


The Glen Echo Park Partnership seeks a part-time Hall Manager to manage and monitor dance events and private rentals in the Spanish Ballroom, Bumper Car Pavilion, and Back Room Annex. The Hall Manager will work with groups that sponsor dances and/or private parties in the three venues to ensure appropriate management of their events, provide technical support (such as stage and hall lighting), oversee financial transactions and accounting, open and close the venues, liaise with Park Rangers and Park Police regarding safety or security issues, and be an excellent representative of Glen Echo Park to the public and the collaborating groups. Events are scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and occasional Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Applicants must be 21 years or older and have his/her own transportation. Summer Carousel Attendant


The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture has an immediate opening for a part-time Carousel Assistant. Some technical knowledge and customer service experience preferred.  Applicants must be 16 or older and speak English fluently. The position pays $10.00 per hour and includes selling and collecting tickets, assisting with maintaining the carousel and carousel building (polishing brass, sweeping floors, etc.), responding to customer inquires, and helping to provide a safe and enjoyable ride for Park visitors.
