Assistant Registrar

Glen Echo Park Partnership seeks a part-time Assistant Registrar to support the education program. Duties include: servicing students registering for classes via phone, online, mail, and in person; processing class registrations including data entry of student and payment information; serving as general reception for the Partnership; and providing information to instructors and arts groups in the Park. Strong administrative, computer and customer service experience required. B.A. preferred.  Approximately 15 – 20 hours per week during office hours, Monday through Saturday. Must be 18 or older. Social Dance Instructor

Glen Echo Park is seeking proposals for social dance classes in the areas of Carolina Shag, Country and Line Dancing, Hand Dance, Latin variations, Swing variations, American and International Ballroom styles.  Applicants must have relevant teaching and/or professional experience and must include a resume along with their proposals. Part-time Visual Arts Instructor

The Glen Echo Park Partnership seeks part-time assistants to provide multidisciplinary visual arts programs for children 12 and under for the Art Explorers Family Art Studio and/or Glen Echo Park Art Birthday Parties.

Duties include leading visual arts activities in a classroom setting for children and/or children and families, maintaining administrative and supply records, and providing general customer service to Park patrons. Art Explorers Family Art Studio shift hours are Saturdays, 9:30am to 1pm.  Art Birthday Parties are generally Saturday or Sunday afternoons, 3 to 6pm.  Applicants must have a B.A. in visual arts or education and teaching experience in visual arts for ages 6 – 16, as appropriate.  Must be 18 or older.
