Glen Echo Park offers music classes and ensembles for children, teens, and adults through the Washington Conservatory of Music (WCM) as well as its Associate Music Program.
Washington Conservatory of Music is a nationally-accredited independent community music school serving students of all ages and levels in the greater DC and Bethesda area since 1984. The Conservatory has an outstanding faculty of professional musicians. It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Pre-collegiate Arts Schools (ACCPAS), is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), and a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education.
Certain independent instructors and organizations who formerly offered classes through the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture are now part of an Associate Music Program of the Washington Conservatory, as indicated in the class descriptions by Associate Teacher.
Individual Music Lessons
WCM offers individual lessons in piano, winds, strings, harp, guitar, percussion, drums, voice, and music theory at Glen Echo Park and at their other location on Westmoreland Circle in Bethesda. No audition is required. All ages, beginners through advanced students, are welcome. For information: www.washingtonconservatory.org.
