• CERAMICS & POTTERY

Ceramic classes offer a unique opportunity to explore the exciting medium of clay.  Glen Echo Park is proud to have an exceptional, well-established resident ceramics program: Glen Echo Pottery.

We offer pottery classes at all levels, beginner through advanced, for adults and teens. Classes afford a unique opportunity to explore the exciting medium of clay. Glen Echo Pottery is a fully equipped studio specializing in high temperature reduction firing with a year–round schedule of daytime and evening classes. Students learn to form works by hand or on the potter’s wheel, select and apply glazes, and experiment with firing techniques. Instruction geared to the level of the individual student is given in a relaxed, yet creatively serious, environment. Our teaching philosophy and friendly atmosphere enable students to express themselves freely at their own pace and become active members of the pottery community.
