Washington Conservatory of Music

Washington Conservatory of Music at Glen Echo Park’s grand opening was held in August 2009, putting music “center stage” at the Park.

For 25 years the Washington Conservatory of Music, a nationally accredited community music school, has been a resident of Montgomery County and has served students of all ages and levels with lessons and classes. In addition, for the past ten years the Conservatory has presented over one hundred forty free public concerts and events featuring professional musicians. At its Glen Echo Park location, the Conservatory offers innovative classes, summer camps, group ensembles, talks, weekend immersion sessions, and concerts for children, teens and adults in its 75-seat recital hall.

The Conservatory is located in the South Arcade, next to Adventure Theatre.
